Yes. Every argument can be easily refuted by basic knowledge of photography, mathematics, and politics. Not only did we land Apollo 11, but also landed 12, 14, 15, 16, 17. All the hardware we brought there in the 70s is still there. We’re not landing this time because that is not in the mission. The risk to human life on unproven hardware until proven is too great. The mission of Artemis 2 is (primarily) to prove out as much of the hardware as possible prior to a landing attempt, which is why it’s on a return trajectory without required burns.

This is sad. Unfortunately, a significant portion in RCIA are their for marriage or similar, & those generally follow the practice of the person they entered to marry. Those who come in for religious motives are much more practicing.

My “rebirthday” is this coming Tuesday. I became a Jesus follower on Easter Vigil, April 7, 2007. Well, if I’m honest, I was a follower before that, and a lifelong agnostic even earlier. But the joy I felt after coming out of that water, the laying of hands, the smell of the chrism, I cannot describe. The world glowed that evening and I felt a peace, a profound cleanliness, love tasted everywhere. I’ve been a humble follower of Christ ever since, ups and downs, deep devotion, momentary dark nights of the soul, transformative fire anew. Piety, Study, Action. God’s grace through Christ is abundant. Extravagant. To all those coming home tomorrow evening, we all will be praying for you. The journey is truly amazing and He has much more in store!

This is amazing. I entered the Catholic Church when I was in college over 15 years ago and no one else I knew my age was converting. It’s so incredible to see thousands of young people now joining the Church 🙏🙏
