I was here for the last few days and spent too much of it arguing with a person who was furious about the content of my book which they haven’t read. Livid. ENRAGED. And even though we explored how they are angry about a thing that isn’t in the book, we made no progress.

Little update on this. It's 5000 words long, which is roughly 1/20th of a full novel, because I had SO MUCH to fit in. AND! It calls back to a) The Cutting Place and b) The Reckoning. ALSO I love it with all my heart. (And Derwent's.)

@JaneCaseyAuthor @HarperFiction I was able to binge read the series in the last couple of months - love Maeve and the Maeve/Derwent relationship has me absolutely hooked! Maeve is so tough but love seeing her vulnerability through her own story telling. Cannot wait for The Close!!

@MarianKeyes I think it was set around 1997. I read it around 1999 and again this Christmas and it was even better than I remembered it! I shed a tear when Rachel met Luke again at the end 😢. I can’t wait for the sequel ☺️
