@CoinbaseDev I need to upgrade my CDP Onramp project from test mode to production. I've been blocked for several days. The Apply button redirects to support.cdp.coinbase.com/onramp-onboard… which returns ERR_INVALID_URL on mobile (both Safari and Chrome). Same broken domain also blocks CDP Discord verification, so I have no channel to resolve this. Is there an alternative way to apply, or can someone process it manually? Happy to DM project details.

@giaset My best guess is they aren't really going for the avg bettor who is punting $10 on a lotto parlay, targeting a different demographic entirely and trying to win on volume/liquidity

Serious question I love prediction markets (have personally done > 7 figures of volume on them since 2018 across Augur, Omen, Polymarket, etc) But can anyone explain to me how they win over the average American sports bettor, who has proven time and time again that they prefer a high gross margin product (parlays) + generous rewards to lower the net hold? If this wasn’t the case, Circa would be the biggest book in the country. “Prediction markets offer lower vig” is a bad argument IMO — literally nobody cares. The average user is hitting at such a low clip that they’re barely ever realizing the extra EV afforded by the lower vig. It’s squirreled away in tail events they’ll rarely see (ie their parlay hitting). This has lead to the current meta, where retail books have to use aggressive bonusing and promos to lower their net hold and make their product palatable. This has in turn created a set of expectations that prediction markets are ill-equipped to match (voids for injuries, deposit matches, discounted lines, etc) Basically there’s a ton of ingrained behaviors that are going to be tricky to change and I’m genuinely curious to hear how prediction markets plan on unwinding them For now I just think they’re offering a completely different product than DK/FD, and, given the choice, I don’t see the average bettor switching over

I am very excited for CDMs "Creator Driven Markets" Creators will drive liquidity into prediction markets that vibe with their audience - @fejau_inc would create a market about FOMC - @salveboccaccio would create a market about HYPE - @whosknave would create a market about Solana - @TrustlessState would create a market about Ethereum - @notthreadguy would create a market about pumpfun And markets will get spun up quickly around rumors and leaks. First to the rumor creates the market, assuming you have the distribution to drive the liquidity. - "Will Stripe launch a chain by November?" - "Will Stripe chain be EVM?" - "Will Stripe chain get a token?" Most markets will stay niche inside their communities. But some will breakout and become massive.. 100x bigger than any permissioned prediction market could ever get. [early idea, will 100% happen but tear it apart]

@0xgaut I did a demo at the Apple Store last month while waiting on an appt. It’s clearly insane raw tech but has a ways to go. The immersive video is nuts for watching sports / other entertainment. It’s not quite usable for productivity purposes but I’m betting it will be soon

4000 ft vertical climb in four hours to Acatenango base camp at ~12k ft elevation. Dropped packs, then another 2 hrs down and up the ridge in loose gravel and ash to view point above the clouds for sunset, with another 2 hours back in the dark
