I just wanted to tell you that in the end, sanity prevails. It might seem like everyone alone you has gone mad. It may feel like everything is dark and nothing good will ever succeed. Most people hide during these times, chase trends, or be someone they aren’t. You may feel insane just for being sane. You may be shocked and appalled at the behavior of those you once respected. Remember COVID? All the mental ill people seemed to be winning and it took years for many to pay. No matter how bleak it might seem, how lost you might feel, or how rough it gets, remember who you are. Kindness matters, faith helps you survive, and don’t destroy all your principles to grift on trends you don’t care about. Someday, the dam will break, the liars will be exposed, their followers mocked, and all those too afraid to be themselves will suddenly change overnight to whichever trend seems safe and acceptable. It takes courage to remain sane while others refuse to do so. Bravery is often the refusal to follow the world off the cliff and cling to what you know is eternal and right. It may seem like you’re alone. Yet many others feel the way you do yet are too afraid to say it. If someone is trying to force you to change the essence of what you know is right, do not follow them. Remember, in the end, grifters will be exposed and heroes will shine. In the meantime, to quote a classic “don’t stop believing”.

I guess I really messed up. As we were leaving church today, a woman complained that it was snowing. My beloved, without missing a beat, told her it was my fault because I had put all the snow shovels away.

@TheMuppetPastor There are organic and psychological issues that can cause this. Fear of not being able to perform is a self fulfilling prophecy. I'd recommend a complete physical and counseling.

If he truly is asexual, it would explain so much. He doesn’t need to feel guilty and nether do you. We should not expect him to do something he can’t. Can you get this confirmed by a medical professional? It may help him to see why he lacks interest, and it can give you peace knowing he can’t be the man you need. Instead of fighting or being angry, you both could have some closure understanding his issue and how it’s nothing personal. This sounds similar to a marriage with a gay spouse. We wouldn’t ask the other partner to life a sexless marriage with someone who isn’t interested. I’d want to get that confirmed, however.

So she’s dipping her foot into the pool. That’s wrong and she shouldn’t be doing that. I’m sure there’s enough blame to go around in your marriage, but you do need to object to this. Admitting your own flaws will make it better.

SISTER HEALTH UPDATE: 💔 Hey team, I just talked to my sister and unfortunately the news is not very good. It turns out she has major blockages in her heart and is going to have to have multiple bypass surgery in the next few days here. Please continue your prayers for her. This is going to be a long difficult road.

Just spoke to my sister. She took the helicopter flight to the bigger hospital and they've given her a bunch of medications that have made her feel much better. They're going to be keeping her overnight and doing further tests to find out what caused this heart attack. I really appreciate everybody's prayers. Right now the news is good. ❤️😇🙏

Just heard from my sister. Turns out she is having a heart attack. They are transferring her to a bigger hospital. Please pray for her as hard as you can. 😥

Received a prayer request: I have an urgent prayer request. My aunt has dementia, and my 83 year old mom is taking primary care of her 8 hours away from me. It looks like some good intervention for my aunt and respite for Mom is going to fall through...AGAIN. I try to help and visit frequently, but Mom is just...worn out. Please pray that if God wills, this respite/intervention care doesn't fall through again. And help me know how to best help Mom.
