Octane AI
@OctaneAI
Agentic Commerce: AI agents that aesthetically onboard each customer, collect contact info, and recommend products. Built for @Shopify. Used by 4,000+ brands.

I have signed myself up to be the dedicated quiz funnel manager for a fast growing @Shopify brand doing $1m+ a month. As CEO and founder this is the most important part of the job. I spent the past 48 hours building AI tools for myself to supercharge the a/b tests. First test is going live right now. This is always the most fun part of building @OctaneAI. My team and I have helped build and create more product discovery and sales quizzes in the ecommerce space than probably anyone in the world, and we've been doing it for almost 10 years. I still think we have barely scratched the surface of what ecom quizzes evolve into. LLMs, agents, chat shopping, etc. We are just getting started.

Some of the top trending products we saw: → @AloYoga, Accolate Crew Neck Pullover; → @CozyEarth, Bamboo Sheet Set; → Merit Beauty, Flush Balm → Goose Creek Candle, Christmas Tree 3-Wick Candle → @carawayhome, Cookware Set → @Iliabeauty, Super Serum Skin Tint → @Brooklinen, Super Plush Robe → @BEIS, The Weekender

@MattPRD @OctaneAI Smashing! You’re already the *de facto* quiz builder … this is just taking it to a whole nuther level 🔥

@MattPRD @jonesroadbeauty @OctaneAI Is he an investor, that is usually how it works!

I *LOVE* to see @Shopify brands having this type of success with @OctaneAI funnels!! 1) The AI sets up your campaigns for you 2) Brands PRINT money doing this exact strategy Why send your traffic to a static page when you could instead be personalizing everything with AI???

This is exactly what the next wave of huge AI agents looks like. Moby from @triplewhale is an AI marketing agent for ecommerce brands. Over $50mil raised from VCs. - Hyper focused on specific tasks (monitoring stats, running ads, etc) - Hyper focused on a specific vertical (ecommerce) And Moby isn't the only AI agent that brands will need. Brands will be adding AI agents at every level of operations and at every stage of the customer journey. Example Agenctic Commerce Stack stack for brands: - Moby from @triplewhale to run your ads - @fermatcommerce to personalize your funnel - @OctaneAI to have AI agents personally (and aesthetically) onboard each customer, collect contact info, and recommend the right products Then you leverage all of this data to power retention marketing on @klaviyo @yotpo @PostscriptIO @attentive and beyond. Agentic commerce is here, its just not evenly distributed.

If you’re a SAAS founder or agency owner, here’s some advice from a 9 figure DTC CEO: 1. Its a very small industry. Don’t put a logo on your website unless you have proper consent to do so. 2. Even if you do, you should only do so if you know the brand is extremely happy. People will reach out to me if they see us, and I’ll always be honest. I’ve definitely killed deals this way. 3. You need to provide value before trying to get on a call. I get asked to do calls about 40 times a week. If I said yes to everyone, I’d get no work done. Even if we’ve been talking and I show interest, give me more information before offering a call. And don’t email it to me, my inbox is as bad as my calendar. If we are Dming, send me the info to my DMs. If you’re not willing to send me a personalized loom, it’s not a great sign. If you are, I can tell you care and I want to know more. 4. Again, it’s a super small industry and we all talk. Product is the most important thing and results speak. If you want me to tell others, I’ll do so for free if I’m show happy because I want others to win too. Word will also get around if you’re a good team or not. Everyone knows @ringmybeller and team are the best in the game. Everyone knows their competitors reputation as well. Play the long game, build a great product, and treat brands well and you will do well. 5. We don’t just care about incrementality with our paid media spend. The best way to prove value is with incremental results. Most apps won’t want to do this because it challenges their effectiveness. Don’t try to sell me on total revenue if most of it was already happening. Speaking of it, Postscript is one of the only SAAS vendors that has run a holdout for me. I wang to see the good guys win. A few agencies and softwares I can proudly support and recommend: 1. Testing- @Intelligems 2. SMS- @PostscriptIO 3. Dev Agency - @AndrewDurot 4. Incrementality - @HausAnalytics 5. TV - @gregMschwartz 6. MTA - @northbeam 6. Quizzes and more - @OctaneAI
