What I don’t get is this: these players can have pretty much any woman they want without forcing anyone. So I find it hard to believe they’d resort to force. The irony in this situation is that, this Spence guy being black and a Muslim in the UK is 1000% more likely to suffer the exact same charges Thomas is currently being charged with by the time he ends his career, than Declan.
In fact many of the English fans didn’t want him on the squad. Look at what he’s doing.
Yet Declan still understands that a charged person is innocent until proven guilty, and besides all that, where they are is not a court room but a football pitch so he concentrated on playing football rather than behave like Djed Spence.

One would have thought that lessons from the past would have put a stop to such nonsense. Ched Evans was even convicted of rape but had the judgement overturned and found not guilty. Benjamin Mendy was charged and found not guilty. Both lost their playing careers despite being found not guilty. Some of the people running judgement over a case not yet determined are even more morally derelict than the actions they claim to hate.
