@MonsterCanSips @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch No it doesn't take hours to charge an electric car. You really should do some proper research before basing your decision on misconceptions. You spend hours earning money to pay for fuel. Charging an EV is very quick.
English

@PozzaMozza @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch "Public chargers" So I have to leave my car in a public place for hours in order to charge it while I do what? Sit around and wait. I have this other concept, I put this substance that's combustible into my i.c.e. car, 30 seconds I'm done and can move on with my day. WOW.
English

@CTWarriorMonkey @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch No it doesn't. Some public chargers, especially Tesla make it cheaper.
English

@PozzaMozza @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch Horrifically expensive, it costs way more than running a petrol car if you do that.
English

@LookAKyle @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch If there is money to be made I'm sure somebody will supply the service.
English

@PozzaMozza @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch that's the problem, it'll fall to the businesses to supply enough for the public to reliably charge without sitting around waiting for a charger to free up and they just dont have the space for that
English

@LookAKyle @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch There are more than enough public charges at the moment. Businesses are very good at adapting as long as they stay ahead of the curve it won't be a problem.
English

@PozzaMozza @GaryConroy76 @LeftwaffenWatch Which everybody else is also going to use and absolutely won't be in convenient enough spots to make them worth using.
English

@LeftwaffenWatch They talk of banning petrol/diesel cars in four years. I couldn’t buy an electric car even if I wanted to as I have got nowhere to charge it.
What about people in blocks of flats?
Are they supposed to dangle a charging cable out of a 10th storey window?
English

@LeftwaffenWatch If they parked the car facing the other way it would have been better. Probably an anti EV set up. No EV owner would do that, risking the charge port getting ripped out.
English

@matt00100707 What's acidic about my reply? I believe it to be valid and true. What's the point in posting your equally valid opinion if I can't leave a reasonable mature reply.
English

@matt00100707 @LeftwaffenWatch Needs must. Mankind, and even more so businesses are pretty resourceful and there are currently more than enough chargers for the current amount of cars. Batteries get bigger, chargers faster and cheaper. Why shouldn't that curve continue as Norway has shown.
English

@LeftwaffenWatch This highlights we are light years away from being able to have every car electric. Imagine if for say one month evey car and truck was magically electric…the country would collapse under the inability to charge conviniently and quickly enough for daily use.
English

@eightzeronineo @stelzner_n1150 @theficouple You've been so influenced by conspiracy you are now denying pollution levels are high on busy roads. No hope.
English

@PozzaMozza @stelzner_n1150 @theficouple No, it is not. The "EVs are green" agenda is long past debunked
English

@mweinbach They are worth it if you're looking at more than just money. They don't leave a plume of toxic gas and particulates behind them for pedestrians, children and babies to breathe in. That's got to be worth something hasn't it?
English

Just because it's coming up again
If you don't have a charger at your home/apartment/workplace, EVs are not worth it
Public charging only in a convenient way is more expensive and time consuming than gas. If you have the aforementioned, you never think about it.
Max Weinbach@mweinbach
I love having an EV, haven’t looked at gas prices in ages Apparently they’re high again
English

@championsfun @akafaceUS I've been in many fields with cows. I wouldn't fancy being in a pool with a great white.
English

@akafaceUS There is nothing that can happen to him, Sharks are not there to hunt humans. A cow is more dangerous to human beings than a shark and that's a fact

English

@schuey32 @jemmm85517813 Conspiracist lies researched on other conspiracists websites. Like sheep going around in conspiracy circles.
English

Deborah does not understand that CO2 is not a pollutant & that Britain produces only 0.00001% of the CO2 in the atmosphere & that despite the west spending trillions on trying to reduce CO2 China & India are burning coal at an ever faster rate.
Deborah Meaden 🇺🇦@DeborahMeaden
It’s happening and I really don’t get the push against cleaner air, more secure and cheaper energy .. unless of course there are powerful lobbies paying to resist.
English

@jemmm85517813 The old China argument. They are on a very steep trajectory to become one of the greenest nations on Earth. I'm assuming you're a conspiracist.
English

@99thinkaboutit @RobNeto_Author @Face81323055 @WilliamShatner Burning petrol and diesel is 100% fossil fuel.
English

@99thinkaboutit @RobNeto_Author @Face81323055 @WilliamShatner Right now in the UK:-
And electricity generation is much cleaner than cars burning fossil fuels and filling our roads with highly toxic gases and particulates for people, children and babies to breathe in.

English

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼
English

@PozzaMozza @WilliamShatner I'm well aware. I stand by my statement. And you're the one responding to my comment, so you go away.
English

@RobNeto_Author @ericlister @WilliamShatner Increased cost on road trips, lack of range. Tell me you don't know anything...........
English

@PozzaMozza @ericlister @WilliamShatner You seem to think EVs are perfect for everyone. I know people who own EVs that regret their purchases because of the lack of range and increased cost during road trips. I don't have to own an EV to know they don't work for me.
English

@RobNeto_Author @iJukeBox360 @WilliamShatner Personal experience. I've had German Diesels for over 25 years. I'd never go back to diesel or petrol for multitude of reasons. I'm guessing you've never owned an EV by what you are commenting. It's obvious.
English

@PozzaMozza @iJukeBox360 @WilliamShatner You have accepted the propaganda without question. Must be nice living in a perfect world.
