The endless stream of social justice-themed, identity-based, nauseatingly boring drivel spewing out of the once mighty @WBEZ has taken their listenership down from #2 in the Chicago market all the way to #17. What a stunning fall. Hopefully they learn from this (they won’t, they’ll double down).

@ShaanVP @Mlondon83 That’s how live news reporting works though. As they gather more info they update headlines. Within about 2 mins it said popping sounds, then maybe 15-20 minutes later said gunshots and apparent assassination attempt. They can’t outright call it gunshots until confirmed on site

Same street that has seen 3 or 4 collisions in last year — someone steals a vehicle a few blocks away, speeds down our street, loses their handle at the roundabout and rams straight into a parked car.
