You people enjoy eating turkey, but let me give you a small behind-the-scenes gist before it lands on your plate 😂🤣 First of all, turkeys will lay eggs and just… abandon them. No care in the world. Unlike chickens, they won’t sit on their eggs. They just act like nothing happened. So farmers either use incubators or sneak it under local chickens to hatch them. Now when the eggs finally hatch, you’d expect the babies (poults) to rush food like chicks abi? Not these ones. They will just be staring at the feed like mumu philosophers 😭 You literally have to teach them how to eat…tap the feed, make pecking sounds, even dip their beaks inside so they learn the first pecks. And it doesn’t end there… small noise, small panic…they stop eating again 😂🤣 Cold is another problem. Once they are cold, they gather together for warmth… and sometimes end up suffocating themselves. Most deaths happen in the first few days..from cold, hunger, dehydration, or piling. Asides the pest and disease (which I won’t want to bore you with) Then after surviving all that wahala… they grow up and start forming boss. Big birds chasing human beings up and down like landlords 😂🤣 If turkey never pursue you before, you won’t understand. So next time you’re enjoying that turkey meat, just remember…farmer don see shege before it reached your plate. Yes, na your money you use buy am… but still, respect the process 😌

I once had a landlord that connected us to his generator. Evenings when there was no light, he powered his giant generator and gave us light. .....until his wife came back from America months later 😂😂

I went to my uncle’s pig farm today, but I didn’t meet him. So I decided to walk around the farm. I was surprised to see some pigs ‘naked’ like that, and then in another section, I saw some pigs wearing jackets. I’m confused…what’s going on? Why are some in jackets while others are not?

@TikiTakaConnor Raya was brilliant and he is clearly a vital player for us, but it has to be Declan Rice. With all due respect to everyone else, Rice is simply a unicorn in this team. What he brings to the pitch is so rare that it is hard to even categorize his impact sometimes.

Arsenal fans without a blue tick, gather here 👇 Let’s follow each other ahead of the big match tomorrow and the title run-in. By May, no Arsenal fan here should be under 5K followers. Follow fellow Gooners. You might even get noticed by some big Arsenal accounts too.

Can we discuss football without these nonsense. Do you know football, can you talk football? Do you watch football? Or you rely on fotmob, sofascore and the likes to teach you football. Can we discuss squad depth? Or you’re bent on one end of an argument? xG or nothing? Last tweet, seems like a waste of my precious time.

@Tobisafe_ @OloyeSomorin Sometimes its to clear a fault, like during raining season, rain and trees can interfere with the wires, so the automatically light goes off to protect the system, after sometime we blink it to check whether the fault has been cleared, if it keeps going off, fault still active

Who works at NEPA that can educate us on how things work? Do you get up from your desk and decide to push a button to put say Ososami Street in the dark or is it automated? How do you decide who gets light? I know when I was growing up and you had a party you can go to NEPA office and bribe them and you’ll have light. So how is it in this modern times?

Inside Òṣogbo
Inside Òṣogbo@InsideOsogbo·
Dozens of angry youths from the Oke-Baale axis of Òṣogbo are currently at the premises of @IBEDC_NG to protest the unbearable and epileptic power supply across Òṣogbo and its surrounding communities. The protesters, chanting solidarity songs and wielding placards with inscriptions accused the distribution company of neglecting consumers while continuing to issue estimated and prepaid bills despite prolonged outages. According to some of the protesters, many households and small businesses in Òṣogbo and adjoining communities have suffered economic losses due to erratic supply, forcing them to rely heavily on generators amid rising fuel costs. They urged the company’s management to provide a clear explanation for the persistent outages and a concrete timeline for improvement. Security personnel are at the scene to maintain order and prevent escalation, while officials of the electricity company are currently engaging a delegation of the youths. This development adds to the growing public frustration over power distribution challenges in the State, as residents continue to demand accountability and sustainable solutions. #InsideOsogbo
