The hotel was attacked with stones and windows broken. The judge noted his job, family, and good character as mitigation but imposed 20 months' custody (after 1/3 guilty plea reduction) due to the serious risk of violence. NATO invoked Article 5 only one time in its 77-year history in defense of US after 9/11. 1000+ NATO soldiers died in Afghanistan fighting alongside Americans. Trump does not know or forgot this or just ignores it. But would think @StateDept would remember.
