Rewarding to see a steady growth trajectory of follower count over time. Super grateful to each and every one of you. It’s been an exciting and fulfilling ride in the first three weeks of posting. Can’t wait to see where we end up at the 3 month mark 🫡

@julesw1lko @londonHenryGB Economic decline (along with distrust) stokes fascism. No jobs, economic distress, high inflation. All born out of spending more than you earn and not promoting growth and innovation. Do you seriously believe we will tax our way out of our problems?

@SoundMoneyMoves @londonHenryGB What stoked fascism? Broken economies . Broken capitalism. Inequality. So - we now have Farage. And flags. Learn your history.

Yes, look at Ireland, that’s exactly why they are jn a surplus not a deficit. It’s attractive for big corporates to setup there due to low corp tax. Not sure how you have arrived fascism and inequality from that. If we don’t become more pro business and growth, someone else will and reap the benefits.

@SoundMoneyMoves @londonHenryGB That’s one way of looking at it, which demonstrably doesn’t work. Look at Ireland. Your method is delivering fascism , inequality and a bulk order of one sided union jacks from Temu.

Not taxing them isn’t losing though. The key is not to lose as that brings low growth. If we can become attractive to big corporates, that brings jobs, opportunity, which in turn increases income and corporation tax revenues. Then suddenly we are in a positively reinforcing cycle rather than the opposite which is a negative death spiral.

The buying power of £100 today is the equivalent of £1.26 in 1926. That same £100 invested into the S&P 500 in 1926 would be worth an estimated £1.5m today at a mere 10.1% annual return. Granted a 100 years have passed, but the same will be applicable to the next century. Investing becomes more palatable and enjoyable when you understand two key concepts: 1. Debasement due to inflation 2. The power of compounding Spend some time understanding both and you will thank yourself in the future.

🇬🇧 🌬️ April 2026: UK paid £165,600,000 to switch wind turbines OFF and buy gas elsewhere because the grid can’t take the power. That’s #curtailment due to outdated infrastructure. Bitcoin miners could’ve taken the wasted MWh, turned it into £££ and secured the grid. #BitcoinMining

I still genuinely want to help people i know understand what’s coming, the insane debt levels, interest payments swallowing the budget, inflation and why Bitcoin is real protection. But I’m also hitting the “fuck it” stage: save my own family first. Most friends and relatives aren’t listening anyway. Anyone else stuck between wanting to wake everyone up and just focusing on your own circle? 😩 Hope is not a Strategy! #Bitcoin

I keep seeing a lot of people post things like “buy the S&P 500 and get rich”. What many won’t tell you is there was a time where it took the S&P 500 almost 13 years to reach all-time highs again. this happened in most of our lifetimes. “Index and chill” is easy when the markets keep going up, but many will quit and think it’s a scam if there are no returns in over a decade.

It makes you wonder why the mainstream media never touches stories like this. 🤔 @SkyNews @BBCNews @itvnews Probably because they don’t want the public realising their money isn’t really “backed” by anything, just the competence of the government and whatever value they decide to assign to it? 👀🫠 #FiatCurrency 💸💸💸

Since 1970 the British pound has lost 95% of its purchasing power. Nobody announced it. Nobody apologised for it. It just happened. Most people don't even know.

"We're 252% of stock market cap to GDP. In 1929 we were 65%. In 1987 we got to ~85-90%. In 2000, 170%. Do interviews like this with @ptj_official scare you? There is every possibility we are entering or in a lost decade. PE ratio of the S&P at 22 can’t be ignored. That’s why I like $VWRP over $VOO. Spread the risk internationally for a marginally smaller return to protect your capital in the event the US sees a prolonged slow down in valuations.
Patrick OShaughnessy@patrick_oshag

Paul Tudor Jones says the US is more dependent on equity prices than ever, and explains what a 35% correction would trigger in the economy: "We're 252% of stock market cap to GDP. In 1929 we were 65%. In 1987 we got to ~85-90%. In 2000, 170%. If you think about the periodicity of significant bear markets. Since 1970, we get a mean reversion about every 10 years. Let's say mean revert to the past 25 or 30-year PE. That would be a 30, 35% decline. Well, 35% on 250% of GDP is 80, 90% of GDP. 10% of our tax revenues are capital gains, they go to zero. So you can see the budget deficit blowing up. You can see the bond market getting smoked. You can see this kind of negative self-reinforcing effect. In the stock market, we're over-equitized as a country. We have the highest individual equity weightings in the history of the country. And then the real problem is if you look at private equity in 2007-2008, that was about 7% of institutional portfolios. Now it's about 16% of the institutional portfolios. We're so much more illiquid than we were in 2008. The problem is that if you buy the S&P at this current valuation, the 10-year forward return is negative when you buy the S&P with a PE of 22. That's what history shows. So yes, the S&P is spectacular long-term, if you have a hundred-year view. But that's because that's an average of a hundred years, including times when the S&P 500 PE was 6, 7 and 8, or one third of what it is right now. Valuation matters a lot, and the stock market's really high and it's gonna be really hard to make money from here with any kind of long-term view."

3am thought: What if the reason schools don't teach personal finance is because an educated generation of investors is harder to sell mortgages, car finance and credit cards to? Just a thought. 👇
