@Jeff_Cal_Exile @ChargersMuse But we only needed an upgrade at center and completely whiffed on our other glaring needs. Doesn’t mean we can’t rebound but so far the offseason is a disaster

We just did the most massive study in collectibles for a Fortune 500 company. The youth collector, who spends all day on his or her phone, has a collection that is at least 95% physical. The NFT boom and bust did collosal damage to the hope of digital collecting.
Broke but Bullish@BrokeBullishSOL

👀🚀🔥 Physical sports card collectors don’t want to hear this… but the hobby is moving on. The Panini Blockchain cards ecosystem exposes just how flawed physical collecting really is. Thread 🧵👇 1️⃣ **Grading is subjective** Two identical cards can get different grades depending on the day, the grader, or the company. That’s not scarcity. That’s inconsistency. 2️⃣ **Population manipulation** With physical cards you constantly hear: “New cases found.” “Warehouse inventory surfaced.” “Reprints.” Meanwhile blockchain cards have **provable supply forever**. 3️⃣ **Damage risk** Corners. Scratches. Centering. Shipping damage. Collectors spend thousands just protecting cardboard. Digital cards don’t degrade. 4️⃣ **Slow market** Want to sell a physical card? • Ship it • Wait for grading • Wait for auction • Pay fees Blockchain trading = instant global liquidity. 5️⃣ **Fake cards exist** Counterfeits and altered cards are everywhere in physical collecting. Blockchain ownership is verified on-chain. 6️⃣ **The irony** The same company producing physical cards — **Panini America** — already proved the future with blockchain. Many collectors just aren’t ready to admit it. 7️⃣ **Market inefficiency** Some 1/1 blockchain cards sell for less than random physical parallels. That gap won’t last forever. Early collectors understand this. The next generation of the hobby is digital. Tagging hobby voices — curious where everyone stands on blockchain vs physical: @PaniniAmerica @PaniniBlockchain @darrenrovell @SportsCardRadio @CardPurchaser @CardHobbyist @blowoutbuzz @Lelandsdotcom @PWCCmarketplace @GoldinCo @KenGoldin @SlabStox @CardLadder @CGCCards @PSAcard @beckettcollect What do you think the hobby looks like in 10 years? #PaniniBlockchain #SportsCards #CardCollector #NFTCards #nft

A word of advice to card collectors: 99.999% of sports cards will be worthless. Unless they’re your favorite player or are a generational talent (LeBron, MJ, Tom Brady, Bam Adebayo, Patrick Mahomes) they’re gonna have extremely little demand after the player retires. Obviously there’s a couple exceptions, but not many. Pokémon Cards > Sports Cards

#Chargers signed a quality starting OC for $10M APY when the market got reset to $27M. They got a disruptive IDL back on a solid $10M APY deal. They brought in the ideal FB for their new scheme. They signed their most important leader at $18M APY. Joe Hortiz is not sleeping.

@RunGoodLife @OSsportscards I'll be interested to see if Topps gives you Flagg blue X fractors back in return or like they said to a collector "a replacement card of equal current market value". Keep us updated please.

Bought 12 Cooper Flagg Xfractors within an hour of the blue Xfractor trade in news dropping on Saturday. 7 shipped 1 pending shipping. 4 refunded No call to action here and not calling anyone out. Just a crazy state of the eBay marketplace.

@DanMackin81 @tvsportscards Not one of the original colors. Blue, gold, orange… Same reason they don’t like purple and sometimes refractors /499 sell for more

Topps@Topps·
We would like to provide clarity regarding the 2025–26 Topps Chrome Basketball Mega Boxes and recent questions about the packaging language. The Mega Box packaging says “Chase Exclusive Blue X-Fractors,” but it should have said “Chase Exclusive Silver X-Fractors.”  This copy on the box was the result of an unintentional error. For 2025–26 Topps Chrome Basketball, the product includes exclusive Silver X-Fractors rather than Blue X-Fractors.  Silver X-Fractors were inserted correctly at a rate of 10 per box, which is the same insertion rate used for the blue basketball parallel in the prior year. We understand that the typographical error on the packaging led to some confusion; we believe that the product delivers a comparable value and the configuration described in the official odds and checklist. We apologize for this error and appreciate your continued passion for the hobby.

@natsturner @StrongCards @beckettcollect That makes sense I’m a big fan of the ladder, but I recently noticed because of the Tiger Woods LeBron James that it’s adding the all in price.. but when I buy a card off eBay, it just goes off of the price listed not my actual payment

Pretty awesome momentum out of @beckettcollect, with record submission numbers for BGS at multiple shows over the weekend. In particular it was the best performing Dallas Card Show in Beckett's history.

@NEOCards_Comics All of the hits are also getting express graded with PSA also which for some of those cards would cost people 5k plus. They’re definitely making money but it’s not as bad as it seems

BYB selling 100 spot breaks for about $1600ish a pop for 25 boxes of Sapphire and 1 Case of Prizm FOTL Football. Looks like a case of Football is roughly $25-28k and assume they paid full retail for Sapphire of $1k a box that is another $25k. Nice $100k + per break rough math...
