Everyone says automation kills jobs. Here's what I actually see on every project: A team of 4 was spending 6 hours a day on manual data entry. I automated it. Those 4 people didn't get fired. - One moved to customer success. - One started doing sales calls. - Two got promoted to ops management. The company didn't shrink. It upgraded. Automation doesn't replace people. It replaces the worst part of their day. The part they hate. The part that drains them. The companies that use AI to fire people will lose. The ones that use AI to free people will win. Every time.

@kalashvasaniya most of the times its marketing because you can have the best product but if nobody knows about it then it doesnt matter

back in march 2025 i built "SuperFast" it took me 35 days + the best ui product i have till date but it didnt work and got 2 users and $128 revenue only can anyone tell me why it didnt work? bad product or bad marketing?

Saw tech salaries. Got excited. ↓ Started learning to code. ↓ Can’t get a job without a CS degree. ↓ Got into college. ↓ Finally got a CS degree. 4 years later. ↓ Can’t get a job without being a senior. ↓ Got a job after 300+ interviews. ↓ Laid off. Engineers obsolete. ↓ Saw farmer salaries. Got excited. ↓ Tesla robots replace farmers. ↓ Realizes he was never outside the matrix.

@yashhq_22 honestly doing both at the same time is the only way even if its exhausting because if you only code nobody finds your stuff

As a solo founder, you have 3 options: – code all day – market like crazy – burn out doing both What are you doing?

@theo I usually use plan mode and adjust the plan before let It start the full work

Just let Opus go for over an hour on a new feature. When it was done, I asked how I can test it. 20 minutes later, it realized I can't test it because it did the whole thing entirely wrong. Idk how you guys use this model every day for real work 🙃

Built GeoCam to solve a simple problem: Blink cameras have no geofencing. Leave home, cameras arm. Come back, they disarm. No manual toggle. Funny thing is I built the first version 2 years ago but gave up. AI helped me finally ship it. Never delete your old projects.

Nobody gets fired for being bad at their job anymore. They get fired for being good at a job that no longer needs to exist.

@cgtwts the fact that it remembers your project and sets up everything automatically is a game changer for solo builders

This is insane from Google - google just dropped a full stack vibecoding system - builder that creates full apps with db, auth, multiplayer and firebase - it auto sets up what you need, remembers your project and installs libraries - you can leave and return and it continues where you stopped - one click deploy, now going after claude code and codex.

@johnrushx the plugins and connectors idea makes so much sense, thats where small teams can really find their niche and build something valuable

The end game is that every serious tech company gonna build “general purpose agent” that can do anything (code, research, assist, etc). Same as the end game for mobile was a touchscreen with OS The skills/plugins/connectors/ will be the “apps” of the post-AI era for small teams
