@NoelDolphin I assume that is Nordlok? I was wondering if the fakes were a good fake with cam teeth on the back/middle or crap fakes with just two ridged washers glued together?

@TrackTeddy There's a brand name, that is expensive, but has test certs. There's a tendency to slip in alternatives, that look the same. Brand name has its name stamped on it, but it's so small my eyes can barely resolve. So you have to catch it in the light.

Relaxing end of work task... sorting fake from real washers. Now this is the high-life.

My Dad was running a tiny Austin Rover garage when these where new and he sold a few of them . I love them for the memories of pissing about in a car garage more than the car but now I kinda love the idea of the car too Also TURBO as a big badge era was the best

@MotoNutJob @Jameypaint Later ones got revised bushes which tamed the torque steer a lot. Maestro turbos all had the revised bushes. Issue was far less than the media made out.

@llinos_medi Tata Steel in Wales accepted the government offer of £500m in grants towards converting to EAF steelmaking which it is currently doing.

First it was the nationalisation of steel in Scunthorpe, now it’s Yorkshire. But where was the urgency of this Labour UK Government when thousands of jobs were on the line in Port Talbot? Yet another example of Wales being treated unfairly. Our steel communities deserve more.

@ListerLawrence Our Series 1 had them up there but further forward above the windscreen, I assume retrofitted by the civil defence when it was in service there.

Does anyone know why my 1959 S2 Landy has these high up indicators? Was it a factory fit option and why does it have them? I’ve never seen another like it. Most have them in the wings but mine doesn’t even have holes for indicators there.

Vote at 16. Inconsistent, given you cannot stand for election, marry, drive a car, get a tattoo, buy an alcoholic drink in a bar, be sent to an adult prison, or even use a sunbed at that age.

@UKDefJournal Extreme caution is needed to avoid bias. If everything is checked by a human then it can be useful, but it is incredibly hard to get the balance right.
