@FedExHelp your iOS app is broken for me since an update yesterday. "Splash" screen is frozen ( which is so 90's and people should just take me to app btw). It sends ton of OTPs to my email while it gets stuck after taking faceid but nothing happens.

@bcrypt Would it be a fair assumption that they used bcrypt() as a hash function because they were told it's stronger than MD5? and that thus, choosing the more secure hash function is what led to this bug. Also, who the hell has accounts with 52 characters in the name??

reminder that the bcrypt hash function ignores input above a certain length! so if you do bcrypt(username || password) for some reason, a sufficiently long username will make it accept any password. to fix this you can sha256 the input first.

I was in the app sending “ping “ messages just to keep it alive , but no luck. Now I’m back at the end of the line #fail

Google has started rejecting email from the domain I've used for the last 30 years as spam. I'm the only person using it for practical purposes. Does anyone have contacts there who can help fix this for me? It means I can't email most people.
