This mistake cost me $1,600: When you create @stripe Checkouts via the API and charge one-time payments, the "invoice_creation" option adds a 0.4% fee. I realized this after $400k of revenue. The fee is not mentioned in the documentation.

Nothing wrong with this, and quite clever from @marclou. He is committing to discounting the next X customers. He never claims or implies the discount won’t be extended. Nobody (who is not a hater) is going to complain the discount got extended.
