The ask Grok feature in posts being limited to premium only is a positive move. Every post was just filled with mindless droves asking Grok. It's unfortunately not enough, posts are still filled with idiots with premium repeatedly asking "Grok, what this mean?" The solution? The Grok logo on every post. They can just have a private discussion with Grok and not digitally litter their stupidity for all to see.

@DaddyRolleda1 I look forward to watching your video, but trying to reconcile weapon speeds and spell casting segments is EXACTLY where I ran into trouble. It would appear under many conditions it becomes impossible to interrupt a spell, or to not have a spell interrupted.

@DaddyRolleda1 I spent a summer trying to wrap my head around AD&D initiative and if you try to play by the book you will soon find it impossible. I've found things actually make sense once you drop weapon speeds, and Gygax appears to agree:

Sometimes it doesn't feel like creation at all. More like solving a puzzle; following a hidden path.

It's underappreciated how little freedom you have while designing a game. You can't just make what you want. You have to to make what works, and you don't get to choose that.
