Elite pitching usually beats elite hitting in the postseason, and these last two games were no exception. Credit to USC for their bats getting hot at the right time, too. The pitching staff was woefully mediocre at best all season, injuries be damned. It bit us in the postseason. It's a shame Caden's, Gavin's, Travis's, Shane's, and others collegiate careers ended here. I am forever grateful to them for sticking with us through the coaching change. Lot of work to do in the portal, and I'm certain we will let Jason Kelly's contract expire. For now, though, I'm just going to let this suck for a bit. I wanted to spend a bit more time with this group.

@DrJesseMorse I don’t doubt it. I used to work for a preventive medicine doc. The rich and famous paid him thousands of dollars to be given advice on a healthy lifestyle. Now AI can do much the same, for free. But it’s the personal attention they’re paying for. Just an observation.

@codingcoach94 @KevinStraub10 I think his leadership and experience is invaluable but I’d have to agree he’s a liability athletically at this stage. Richards and him are surely the tandem but I’d sub off Ream every game at 50-65 min range minimum if we don’t want to leak goals when they’re getting gassed.

@KevinStraub10 @TaylorSCollins I disagree that he has enough to be impactful. That first goal was 100% on Ream. He just keeps dropping and dropping for 15 yards? That’s too much time. We had the numbers. He should have stepped. That poor defending is the difference in the game sometimes.

I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all the coaches and programs who have invited me to take an Official Visit this summer, as well as the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to make these visits so special for players and their families. That being said, I have decided not to take any Official Visits this summer. The personal challenge I set for myself two years ago (when I got here) completing high school in just 2.5 years to early enroll in 2027 demands my full commitment. I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made in these two years. As a team captain, i got to be here for my teammates during summer workouts. This is my final season last year was my first on varsity, and we fell short. This year, we’re determined not to let that happen. That’s another reason why I need to stay focused and put everything I have into this sh*t. #ArmyofBuckeyes
