@mamboreina79 Your understanding is indeed correct though that the typical flow of training and inference is that predictions on the test set are done after training has completed.

@deeplizard Hi, is it possible that there is a bug in this question? Taking into account what we have seen in this course up to this point, predictions are made on test data AFTER the model has been trained.

@mamboreina79 Hey! Technically, the model is not required to be trained in order for us to pass data to it and get a prediction. That being said, the prediction given from the model prior to training would likely be inaccurate bc it hasn't yet learned anything.

@tszzl Working on "world peace" (ie. making politics and geopolitics more cooperative) reduces the chance that people will cut corners on AGI to "beat the other team", reducing the chance of unfriendly AI apocalypse.
Also a lot of things are upstream of helping good AI research.
