73 Opposition MPs in the Rajya Sabha have just submitted to its Secretary General a fresh Notice of Motion for presenting an Address to the President of India praying for the removal of Shri Gyanesh Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner of India, on the ground of proven misbehaviour constituted by acts and omissions committed on and after 15 March 2026, within the meaning of Article 324 (5) of the Constitution of India read with Article 124(4) thereof, Section 11(2) of the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Act, 2023 and the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968. There are now nine specific charges against the CEC that have been documented in great detail and that simply cannot be denied or whitewashed away. His continuation is an assault on the Constitution. It is an absolute disgrace that the man continues to be in office to do the bidding of the PM and HM.

Today, exercising the provisions of the Constitution of India, more than two-thirds of the AAP MPs in the Rajya Sabha have merged with the BJP.
Seven MPs have signed the document, which was submitted to the Hon’ble Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.

Justice Swaran Kanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court rejected Kejriwal's plea that she recuse herself from hearing related matters in the excise policy case and commented
1. "A politician cannot be allowed to cross the line and sit in judgment over judicial competence."
2. "The courts cannot let litigants plant distrust", once you open that door, the floodgates to suspicion of the judiciary swing wide.
3. "Justice is not delivered by bending to pressure. My loyalty is to the Constitution, and I will decide every matter without fear, without favour, and without stepping down just to appease anyone."
My sincere regards to this lady.
In a country where some judges forget these very guidelines, she has upheld the impartiality and dignity of the judicial system above everything else.
If only we had more such judges in India.

Politics isn’t a spiritual domain; expecting saint-like ethics from politicians is unrealistic.
As far as Raghav Chadha is concerned, yes, he has joined the very party he once attacked. But the real question is: if you found his earlier work, what was then projected as AAP’s ideology, impressive, and he continues along the same lines, why shouldn’t he still be seen the same way?
Also, AAP today is not the AAP he originally joined. In that sense, it’s arguable that he didn’t change parties, the party itself changed, and he stepped out of it.
I’m not a fan of Raghav Chadha, but facts remain facts. And right now, if he’s unsettling Kejriwal, that alone explains a lot.
