Under this ownership we will only ever do just enough. We will never show any real intent or ambition. Loans, players coming back from serious injuries, punts from lesser European leagues and kids. We are all used to it by now.
@pn_neil_allen Good performance, as JM said we were the better side in the first half but Southampton had a couple of shots, well that's what happens when you have a proper striker I'm afraid, they get into space and take shots, something we are massively missing in this team, good game though
I was in the grocery store today and the man in front of me… his card kept declining. He had two kids with him and they were slowly putting their items back one by one. He kept whispering, “Daddy’s trying. I’m sorry.” Then the lady behind me tapped him and said, “Put everything back in the cart. All of it. Kids shouldn’t feel their parent’s stress.” She paid the whole bill and walked off like it was nothing—no bragging, no camera, no attention. Just pure humanity. People like that still exist and they deserve every blessing coming their way.
My wife and I went to McDonald's . I ordered food while she visited the toilet. After she counted her nuggets went to the counter and kicked up a huge fuss about it being 2 nuggets short. Got a extra set of nuggets free. I have never told I ate 2 while she wasn't there.
I’m lying here on this ward in Hereford after spending 13 hours in A&E, and I honestly feel completely abandoned by the system that’s supposed to help me. I have a herniated disc, I can’t walk, I have no control over my own bodily functions, and yet I’m being told I’ll be sent home tomorrow. After everything I’ve been through, the only “treatment” I’ve had is painkillers. That’s it. No real intervention, no real plan just pills and a pat on the back.
I’ve been told I can’t even be considered for surgery until I have physio… but how am I supposed to do physio when I can’t walk? I have 3 children to care for and a job to do? I’m 35 years old, I served 13 years as a paratrooper, pushed my body to its limits for this country, and now when I genuinely need help, I’m being handed the cheapest, least effective option and shoved out the door.
I feel completely let down. I’ve lost all faith in this system. I’m upset, I’m scared, and I’m seriously disappointed that this is the level of care I’m receiving. I expected better anyone would. Instead, I’m being discharged with nothing but painkillers and false hope. This isn’t care. It doesn’t even feel like compassion. It feels like being written off. Sent this to my local MP but thought you might have some connections could help me out
@bobbeech The lack of a credible alternative to Colby is what’s doing for the club and has done from the beginning of the season with the number of good chances going begging (equaliser vs Norwich, chances vs Wrexham). Would Pompey be higher than mid table? Prob not but def 5-6 points up
Just like the first snow of winter or the first swallow of spring today we see the first smattering of ‘lost the dressing room’ tweets
Has he? No idea but possibly as important has he lost the fans? Probably not yet but the cracks are there
Serious concerns over a number of players on a bleak afternoon at Fratton Park. The ratings are in as Pompey fall into the drop zone against Bristol City.

@PompeyPedro Murphy And Lang and we also need to offload bishop to some League 1 or 2 club on loan or a free as he's worthless at the moment, totally ineffective today
Diabolical opening 20 minutes. Horrendous.
The crowd was turning and Schmid faked an injury for a team talk which got the crowd back on side.
Following 25 minutes were better in terms of possession and threat but the bar was LOW.
Murphy goes in Jan surely.
In big trouble.

@Michael_Eisner@GiloBabb You'd better hurry up and find another Bob stern, we need someone with vision to move us forward as the current incumbents seem to be struggling
One of Bob Stern’s first jobs in the 1960s was my parents’ apartment in NYC. He astonished my father and annoyed him by refusing to be easy. He joined the board of The Walt Disney Company and helped us strive for excellence, building 80 buildings over 20 years. He was an inspiration and critic positioning Disney as a beacon of architectural splendor. RIP my friend.
Bob at Fratton Park in Portsmouth, England advising on stadium renovations. December 2017.
Can’t ignore the fact that Conor Chaplin has been below par since he returned to #Pompey
But, you don’t sign him to play out of position & not utilise his talents. The wider issue is that Pompey have failed to solve the RW issue this summer & are still feeling the affects now
