Each year, on our last day of approving bills originating from the Judiciary Committee, as House Ranking Member, I usually bring an original poem or song; some parody of a classic, that addresses some of the topics we covered during our committee work. Don’t believe these people. In Connecticut, the Head Start reimbursement system IS shut down. Preschools cannot pay staff and will need to start laying off staff very soon and sending little kids home.
