It’s 2025 and spam calls are still a problem. I just got 17 back to back calls seconds apart. I shouldn’t have to install an app to not be harassed.

@tojulius Yes, Netflix could have planned this far better than they did. I’m on a 2Gbps connection and it’s more pixelated than if I were on mobile phone in the middle of nowhere. It’s sad tbh.

Is there a way to simulate 150M people stream? I can’t believe they didn’t plan for this. And it’s not even the main event. The load will be crazy later.

@Shpigford Mine similar but have the left vertical. Give it a try and you’ll likely never go back.

@_lhermann This is something we’ve been doing since around 2014. Events greatly prefer being able to pay for just what they need and no sub. We also offer various subs for those that want them. Best of both worlds.

Last year my churn was very high, up to 12%. 😱 I needed over $1000 new MRR / month just to keep up. So one day I decided to do something about it. I removed the monthly plan. Many users only need it for one event. Now they use a one-time 30d license. Churn went down to 6%.

@VicVijayakumar I wouldn’t say it was runny, but I’ll probably half the water and sugar next time. I boiled the liquid a bit before I put in the cranberries, so some boiled off. It was also a really large batch (24oz of cranberries).

People can make their own choices but I will not eat cranberry sauce out of a can. Cookinglight disappeared off the web so this year I had to go find this recipe using the wayback machine.
