@TweetsOfSumit @GetMyInvoices I think the build it by yourself will not happen, because to create a DATEV integration it takes time and cost. Also getMyInvoice, does more than scan you email inbox, do you need only this? Let's talk ;)

I'm looking for a simple, but reliable alternative for @GetMyInvoices. - Fetch all emails/PDFs with a given tag in Gmail - Parse contents & extract invoice data - automatically sync to DATEV That's it. Not portal login automation, nothing. Just that.

@betomoedano There are people outside the tech bubble who have never heard of ChatGPT, don't know what a prompt is, and wouldn't know where to start. For them, a well-built wrapper isn't a shortcut; it's the only way they'd ever access this technology.

@ginandstocks Naja, es ist nicht nur die App bauen. Vermarkten (wenn nur privat use; ok), dennoch instand Haltung, Server kosten (muss auch gepflegt werden). Bug fixes, etc. Früher gab es auch keine Maschinen, alles wurde von hand gemacht, dennoch baue noch lange kein eigenes Auto.

Wir sind nur wenige Monate davon entfernt, dass Menschen ohne irgendwelches IT-Knowhow eigene Apps entwickeln und betreiben können. Man kann sich ausmalen, was das für kleine SaaS Anbieter und Individualsoftwareunternehmen bedeutet.

@PovilasKorop Currently no client is asking me to implement AI stuff, but i have my private project which is using Laravel AI SDK to the fullest. Who knows, maybe i need it for a client one day or my project will go 🚀. Both cases i would take :D

Looking at the engagement numbers of my videos on Laravel AI SDK, and they are surprisingly low. But it makes sense. Feels like there is not enough demand by clients who would ask for AI features in the projects. So not much need for developers to learn it.

@levelsio I agree 💯 but boring tech; i would suggest use the tech stack you're used to. Makes you faster, no experiments.

Getting a 429 Rate Limit error from the @OpenAI API? It's probably not your code. Check your Pay As You Go balance in account settings, it needs to be positive. Saved you 2 hours of debugging 🫡.

day 3 results are in: > 21 downloads > 3 trials > top 10 in 2 countries > top 30 in 12 keywords > top 1 in almost all countries with the exact app name downloads are somewhat less than i initially anticipated but it's worth noting that there are 200+ similar apps and vast majority of them are free. i have hard paywall with free trial still quite decent, getting 1 new trial a day with no marketing whatsoever i am also finalising my second app so i will have more data points to see if this strategy is worth focussing
