Dan Crenshaw is a former United States Navy SEAL Officer who served multiple combat deployments with SEAL Teams 1 and 3, where he was wounded by an improvised explosive device and lost his right eye. After retiring from Naval Special Warfare, he served as a US Representative from Texas, advocating for veterans and national security. In late 2025, he became involved in a highly publicized dispute with former SEAL and podcaster Shawn Ryan after Crenshaw’s legal team sent Ryan a demand letter alleging defamation over comments about Crenshaw’s personal finances. The situation escalated into a broader clash over media scrutiny, accountability, and the boundaries of public discourse among veterans and public figures. An interview was planned in early 2026 to address the conflict, but it was cancelled.

Here's the real problem, exposed.
The replies are full of grown men saying they're too afraid of either being arrested or stabbed/beaten up.
The same guys who talk about resisting the government and fighting oppression are too afraid of the government to protect the weak.
