Today West Toronto Railpath users will experience a closure between Bloor St W and Dundas W. Metrolinx ran into a small and unforeseen issue while relocating a pole as part of the phase two closure area. Metrolinx anticipate this section of the WTRP to be open BEOD.

Saddened to see the West Toronto @railpath clear-cut of its trees and vegetation. It’s always been a lovely strip of wild lushness. The Kitchener Fourth Track is an important project, I know—I just hope the Railpath can renew itself in the future.

The bioswale is in pretty good shape ATC. The transit shelter should be in very soon. The large ped volume ensures that this traffic signal changes very frequently, combined with the narrow lanes, busses and tight radii means that motor vehicles move thru here very slowly 🏆

Visited #BikeTO YorkU to see how it fared thru the winter. Not bad. Not a lot of bikes thru here yet, but TONNES of pedestrians. The curb cut at Evelyn Wiggins is also done. The great thing about protected intersections is that they make the intersection safer, for everyone.

Our first #BikeTO protected intersection is now operational. A few minor signage changes & completion of the TTC Island to come, but the permanent signals & line markings are in place Bioswale is also starting to do its thing. (traffic signals are bigger than you think they are)

I have only seen one of these, number 4, which I thought was terrible. I would not watch any of the other ones. Cinema is for teenagers now, because a trip to the multiplex gets them out of the house. The good stuff is on TV.

@AlexanderGlista Sure would. This hood would love it and has asked for it. But municipalities now have almost zero leverage to make most of that happen and Section 37 is gone plus development charges have been reduced. Municipalities are in the hole before anything is built. Thanks Doug.

Within an 800 metre walk of this site, there are: - 3 subway stations - a streetcar and bus hub - 2 GO stations - 1 Union Pearson Express station The “let’s keep density artificially low because vibes” approach is destroying affordability and ruining Toronto.
