Just watched game again and 2 big decisions were wrong. Genge yellow card was debatable but it wasn’t a penalty try. Then the penalty advantage at 38-39 that was changed to knock on only by ref mid play Led to BB ….hard done by?

I’ve been vocal in my support for Ford. But if Borthwick truly wanted to make a statement in his substitutions then Smith can’t be brought on at 15…why not just give him the keys at 10 for a half? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ireland excellent and absolutely not flattered by the scoreline. For England, the most damning indictment is that it was reminiscent the 6N and World Cup warm-up games of 2023... which were horrible.

The thug who assaulted police officers at Manchester airport last summer, Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, has rightly been found guilty of serious offences. This man really is despicable. He kicked and beat two police officers. The evidence was as clear as day. There was no verdict recorded in the other case, that of Mohammed Amaad. We await news from the CPS on the next steps in that regard. Police officers deserve to know that those who attack them in the line of duty will be properly punished. I hope Amaaz goes to jail for a long time. At the time of the attack some people were quick to judge the police. Those Labour politicians who leapt to the defence of this thug before awaiting the full facts should be ashamed. The cabinet minister, Lucy Powell, mistakenly raised concerns in the House of Commons. She should issue a full public apology. This is the same woman who said raising rape gangs scandal was ‘dog whistle politics’. What does this say about her instincts on crime and justice? Police officers do a difficult job. They don’t always get it right. But if we’re to fight crime and make our country safe again, the police need to know we’ve got their backs when they tackle violent offenders.
