@nikillinit Another stealth thing I don't think a lot of people realize: if an alternative provider does a duplicate service during the performance period, you don't get paid

@selfDM would love to see how people are going to experiment with new patient engagement strategies here - I think this is going to be the hardest part

list of ACCESS participants is out - as you can imagine it's mostly digital health companies but also a lot of medical groups/friendly PCs for companies too. There also seems to be a pharmacy? MSK was the least popular (61 out of the 153), and 38 orgs said they were going to do all 4 of the tracks let's see how it plays out! There's been a lot of debate about whether it's possible to deliver care and achieve outcomes with such a low reimbursement

@nikillinit I hope I'm wrong but I think there's going to be a lot of shady things between the lines to game the system. So normal healthcare I guess.

I'm tempted to finally churn off Slack. We're paying ~$6k/year for 40 people and they just quoted me $21k/year for the business version that includes a BAA (and all the shitty AI features). Incredibly overrated software

@nikillinit The other kicker on this is that if you don't get all four patient-reported outcome collections throughout the year, then that patient is removed from the denominator. It's good incentive obviously to keep them engaged.

@nikillinit It's hard for me to see how it can be fully autonomous because when you dig into the RFP, you have to have a medical director send a note to the PCP when they are enrolled and also when they disenroll. From what I can deduce, that means it needs to be signed.

I am attempting to use Teams so we can work with a customer in a shared channel and it is fucking awful. One of the worst pieces of software I've ever attempted to use.

CPAs think we DIY our taxes to save money. - We do it because AI will answer your 15th question about a deduction without watching the clock. - We do it because AI won't punt your return to October and act like it's normal. - We do it because AI doesn't bill you for asking "wait, why?" - We do it because AI explains what it's doing instead of just doing it. - We do it because AI doesn't have 200 other clients ahead of you in March. - We do it because AI doesn't disappear from February to April. - We do it because AI won't judge you for not knowing what a 1099-NEC is. - We do it because AI gives you the expertise without taking away the understanding. - We do it because AI lets you file at 11pm on a Sunday. - We do it because AI doesn't charge you more for having multiple income streams. - We do it because AI turns "just sign here" into "here's what you're signing and why." - We do it because AI doesn't file an extension on your behalf and call it a strategy. - We do it because AI makes you smarter about your taxes every year. Your CPA makes you more dependent every year. - We do it because AI doesn't sigh when you ask what quarterly estimated payments are for the third time. - We do it because AI doesn't care if your situation is "complicated." - We do it because you can ask AI "what if I made more this year" and get an answer in 5 seconds instead of scheduling a call. - We do it because AI won't tell you in April that you're actually filing in October.

Savitha was one of our superstar students at the UT Austin McCombs school of business - she was set to graduate this May, and then she was on to start her career at a big professional services firm. She was a double major with honors. Involved in student organizations - a light in the classroom. Absolutely crushing to lose her. That location on 6th Street is pretty far west of Congress (toward Lamar), and considered safe by our students. Really no words to express the wave of sadness rolling over @UTexasMcCombs and @UTAustin. Other students are still in the hospital in very serious conditions - this is a very tough week for our community, the families, and #ATX in general. Thanks for releasing this information.

I’m excited to share that Ease Health is coming out of stealth with a $41M Series A led by @a16z, alongside @AbstractVC, Sunflower, F3, and @BoxGroup, to build the AI-native operating system for behavioral health. Behavioral health runs on some of the most fragmented infrastructure in healthcare. Providers are forced to stitch together EHRs, billing systems, CRMs, schedulers, documentation tools, and compliance workflows just to operate. We started Ease because this is not a tooling problem. It is an architecture problem. So we rebuilt the system from the ground up. Ease is a single platform where AI is not a bolt-on. It is foundational. -Documentation is handled by an ambient AI scribe. -An AI voice agent can manage intake and scheduling. -Our CRM auto-enriches leads and logs activity automatically. -Front desks can instantly match patients to the right provider. -Charts are audited continuously. -Utilization review and prior authorizations can run autonomously. When data is entered once, it flows everywhere it needs to go across clinical records, billing workflows, and reporting. One through-line of truth across the entire organization. Since launching, we have grown quickly and now support hundreds of behavioral health providers across inpatient, outpatient (IOP, PHP, MAT), and residential. The behavioral health crisis is not a demand problem. Providers are buried in manual documentation, claim denials, compliance friction, and disconnected systems. We are building the system designed to remove that burden. We are grateful to Andreessen Horowitz for leading this round, and thankful for the support of all of our investors and partners who believe in rebuilding healthcare infrastructure the right way. Your conviction and partnership mean a great deal to our team.

@dmitryrechkin And figure out the airport myself, and look at those big screens with tiny letters and a million rows to find my flight and stuff, nah way too much effort man

My OpenClaw personal assistant truly runs my life. I'm at the airport. My agent has the boarding pass, it checks the details through Google Flights. It knows which gate, which check-in areas, and it knows Dubai airport in and out. So I just talk to my agent through voice messages. And it messages me back using text-to-voice. I have headphones on, and it's telling me exactly where to go and when - and give me gentle reminders when I need to get ready. Surreal experience. Living without OpenClaw now would be such a downgrade.

It's pretty incredible how much of how I work has changed in just the last two weeks. We rolled out an AI chatbot inside Slack (OpenClaw), hooked up a bunch of tools via MCP and APIs, and now I basically just chat with AI to knock out entire projects. I can also do a lot more work when I'm on the go and only have access to my phone. As I finish each project, I turn it into a reusable skill so the rest of the team can use it. Anyone can also update the AI's SOUL file to set overarching rules for how it operates. The system just keeps getting more useful. Example from yesterday: I created a skill where anyone on the sales team can message the bot after a sales call. The AI finds the relevant Granola meeting notes and HubSpot deal, asks a few clarifying questions, then generates a full ROI analysis spreadsheet and a custom pitch deck and shares the xlsx and pptx files right inside Slack. If something's not right, we just tell the AI what to fix and it goes off and spawns sub agents and figures out how to make the changes. Pretty insane
