What would it look like if AI noticed things before you did? Most AI today is reactive, it waits for a prompt. We’ve been thinking a lot about what happens when intelligence starts working ahead of the problem instead.

who's building the beautiful TO DO app that's really just claude code under the hood for non-technical people? not a list but something that actually works with you to get stuff done, minus the terminal UI. bonus points if it replaces notes app too.

i'm sick of everyone bashing the ai labs. each one has something to offer: - openai is BLEEDING EDGE - claude is SMART - grok is FUNNY - amazon - meta is OPEN-SOURCE - google has INTEGRATIONS - apple is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND

it's way easier to use claude code + imessage than ppl realize; no MCPs needed just 'claude' in your terminal and ask claude stuff like "who did I forget to respond to this week in imessage" or "look for all the zillow links i've sent in imessage over the past 30 days." & this is all private & local

Your imessage conversations are stored a chat.db in ~/Library/Messages/. If you copy that file somewhere, you can ask claude code to analyze or visualize your conversations. I asked it to analyze my relationship and give feedback on how we can both improve, where our weaknesses are

whenever I’m trying to plan the future I find it helpful to do an exercise where I break things into three columns “What I feel” (all of the conflicting things I feel) “What I know” (facts of the case, my past pattern of behavior, true things about everyone involved) and “What I want” (features of outcome(s) that would make me happy) and then figure out which course of action would best minimize dissonance between the three

This is what happens when nobody in the room says “hey… normal people might freak out at that sentence.” AI is great at the boring life clutter, but the second you connect it to parenting, the whole vibe shifts. People get protective. Which is fair. We built @spec around the idea that tech should stay behind you, not next to you. Feels a lot more natural that way.

Elon Musk on how he deals with running many different companies: “Well, I have a lot of inbound communication, so it’s basically information triage. I try to segment my days to avoid too much context switching. Because, arguably, fear isn’t the mind-killer—context switching is. It’s hard not to context-switch when your inbox is full of stuff, but think about it: if you had to context-switch every three seconds, every thirty seconds, or even every three minutes, the cognitive penalty would be enormous.”
