@SebAaltonen @JomaaMiro Maybe he needs a detailed prompt specifying exactly what you want and which rules to follow. Sadly, AI struggles with niche topics due to a lack of context. You either have to 'write poetry' for it (which might fail anyway) or just do it manually

It's not vibe coded. I asked Codex to port existing GLSL to WGSL. Also Codex can vibe code shaders, but you have to write perf-critical parts yourself and review + ask iterative improvements. It writes shaders like it writes C code. Doesn't really understand anything about SIMD coherence, register indexing issues, etc.
