We have just as many You can release your strategic petroleum reserves, and reduce demand for oil to try to keep prices artificailly low, but we can strike more pipelines in the Gulf and close the Bab el-Mandeb strait, and cause a crisis as Summer arrives and demand for gas increases Iran is not holding back!

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran's chief negotiator Ghalibaf posted a cryptic message on X suggesting Iran holds just as many cards as the U.S. What he's actually saying: Supply Cards = Iran’s tools to disrupt global oil supply (Strait of Hormuz partly threatened, Bab el-Mandeb and pipelines still unused) Demand Cards = U.S. tools to counter those disruptions (releasing oil from strategic reserves + letting high prices “destroy” some demand + more price pain still coming) He's saying Iran’s remaining supply-shock leverage roughly equals the US’s inventory + demand-management leverage The "summer vacation" line is a threat: summer driving season means peak oil demand. If Hormuz stays closed through summer, U.S. gas prices explode right before midterms Iran is telling Washington: you think you have leverage, but so do we.

I used to think the Israelis were the good guys, but then they revealed who they truly were - demons who are killing innocent civilians. Hezbollah has nothing to do with that.

WE FOUND IT In a now deleted post, Senator Cornyn wrote, “Welcome to the Indian Century” w/ a NYT opinion piece focusing on the rising number of youth in India & how unemployment is a problem. 👉The article also discusses how 70% of H-1B visas are given to Indian nationals👈 Senator Cornyn is not only pro-amnesty for illegal aliens, but he also supports H-1B visas. How do we put Texans first if a sitting Senator is willing to sell out our jobs & also reward criminal behavior w/ citizenship? It would be a shame if Texas voters saw this prior to the Senate runoff on May 26th.

@famke03709014 @timdnew @MarioNawfal The US sourced just 2.5% of its oil from the Middle East before the war started, and has been shifting to other sources already, so it's diving towards 0 reliance on the Middle East at all. The US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Norway are all relatively self-sufficient.

@famke03709014 @HelenaTerscheg1 @MarioNawfal which is what I said. The US can refine all of its own crude BUT it chooses to exchange Light for heavy because that was original design. With Venezuela in the foild, the US needs 0 from Middle East. We are the least impacted - Iran & China the most.

@famke03709014 @HelenaTerscheg1 @MarioNawfal Your information is about 30 years out of date. US Refineries USED TO not be able to refine sweet crude but today they can and do. Inflation is NOT yet high in the US; much lower than under Biden. in the 3% range

Beside the fact that the fertilizer-shortage could cause famines worldwide, what's on the USA: the inflation ist already high in the USA itself. Wondering how this will work out if it rises even higher.

It has plenty of Oil and Natural Gas, even LNG. It is Europe and Asia that hurt after Iran. Higher costs short term? OK.

A formal disbarment complaint was filed against Chief Justice John Roberts at the DC Bar on April 22, 2026, alleging a pattern of financial disclosure violations spanning two decades. At the center of the complaint is the documented commission income earned by Jane Sullivan Roberts while working as a legal recruiter at Major, Lindsey & Africa between 2007 and 2014. According to internal records released by whistleblower Kendal Price, she earned $10.3 million in commissions from elite law firms during that period, some of which argued cases before the Supreme Court in the same years.

This sequence of events is likely to happen: - SCOVA upholds Virginia's gerrymandered maps, at least for this election. - Republicans appeal to SCOTUS, which unanimously dismisses the appeal since the high court consistently lets states draw their own districts as they see fit. - SCOFL upholds Florida's new fairer maps. - Democrats appeal to SCOTUS, which dismisses the appeal 6-3 with all liberals dissenting and Kagan complaining that the court needs to stop using the shadow docket. Good times. Love the liberal consistency.

I don’t know how accurate the reporting is regarding Iran’s supposed new offer to end the war by lifting the blockade, opening the strait and dealing with the other issues later. But all I can say is I understand why Iran would make that offer. I am confident not only would that offer be unacceptable, but it also tells you all you need to know about the true state of play regarding negotiations. This is an offer that ignores the strong positions President Trump has rightfully taken regarding Iran’s nuclear operations and desire to be the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. To have a successful negotiation you have to have two willing partners. Clearly, if this offer is accurate, Iran is playing games. Mr. President, stick to your guns for the good of the nation and the world. The Iranian regime and their behavior is the problem, not you. wsj.com/livecoverage/i…
