I think we underestimate how much “gay dating” discourse is just an excuse to indulge in the age-old homosexual pastime: complaining!

There are lots of videos from men talking about how gay dating sucks and how being gay sucks. If you think being gay sucks, that's a "you" problem. Being a gay man is the most incredible gift but most take it for granted these days. Men with character have no problem with dating girls or guys. Do something difficult, take risks, fail at something, be cringe, have the courage to be disliked, be interesting, be unique, conquer loneliness. Make yourself a man worth getting to know.

@writes__code Maybe this is dumb but I'm always confused by complaints about 'gay dating'. Like, if your dating life sucks, wouldn't you assume the problem is you rather than gays in general?

@writes__code I 100% agree. Every time I hear a gay guy talking about dating and connecting I always know that they are insufferable and that's why no one likes them. Same reason that ugly mean gays try to make everyone feel bad for liking to fuck
