For everyone asking, “Where are teachers making $100k+?” One place teachers make $100k+ is New York City.

@TheMattViera I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, where the school district had a rule that once you reached your sixth year of teaching, your salary automatically crossed into six figures….. and this was back around 2014 or 2015

@TheMattViera NYC gives with one hand and takes with both. $100K sounds great until rent, taxes, and cost of living turn it into a $50K lifestyle 😂

@TheMattViera I know long term teachers making around that much. There’s definitely a pretty low ceiling but $100k is fairly common
