The Canucks played last night, the Canucks are terrible and the Wild trail 2-1 after one period. The Wild is coming off a four-day break. The Wild might win this game but that's not the point. The point is that in no way was a Wild team prepared for the playoffs.

Robert, under proposed change, prior to this year, if you look at last 10 years… 30 DIFFERENT schools would have hosted in the 1st round. 21 DIFFERENT schools in the second round. Facts are facts. Nothing to do with Denver, everything to do with college hockey fans and players!

I’ve like what I’ve seen from him the last few years and he didn’t look out of place in his one call-up, albeit just one game. Was surprised to not see him on your list at all.

@MNTwinsZealot The CHL kids stats are inflated because they’re beating up on 16 year olds. College hockey has turned into a year by year league. It’s not about development. You develop a freshmen he could be gone next year for more NIL. Build a team to win each year.

@MNTwinsZealot Nah I think most of the CHL players this year were overhyped, the top ones have been great but I do think you need to go older. Look at past champs. All older junior player. The beauty of college hockey and USHL

Bob Motzko not going after Canadian juniors which was a new world for this college hockey season made little sense & it burned him. Need someone young & not necessarily connected to the program which means getting away from the 90% of the roster must be Minnesotans mentality.

I need examples of a US city with at least three pro sports teams where the NHL team is top two in fandom in the city.
Boys here said Detroit, DC and Tampa. I think I’ll give them DC and Tampa, but contest Detroit.
Some guys said Minnesota, I think Twins are bigger than Wild.
