The drama in the @Big12Conference is unbelievable if this article by @ThomasGoldkamp is accurate. Yormark did a great job jumping the Pac 12 in media negotiations, but since then has done nothing I can recall that has actually helped that conference.
Now he's alienating the one school in his league and it's booster @CodyC64 that has the resources and fan base to compete against the SEC and Big Ten (just a few months after he needlessly destroyed their long-time tortilla toss tradition).
As the ACC eyes Big 12 schools in it's quest to be the #3 league and demand SEC-type media revenue, Yorkmark's continued alienation of Texas Tech and Campbell is likely to prove a very stupid move. If Tech decides a potential invitation to the ACC is in their best interest I imagine BYU will choose that direction too.
Yormark would be wise to think long and hard about what a Big 12 minus TT and BYU is worth.
