Finally saw Project Hail Mary. What a refreshing movie. A straight forward plot, fun movie science, great action, surprisingly funny, Gosling made the scenes interesting, visually curious, Rocky was lovable, no politics, no agenda, a satisfying ending, just a solid movie. Based.

@BasedJawa Actually was curious about that! Was the book a different tone than the movie? The movie was definitely humorous, is the book like that too or was that a movie choice? What were some of the differences?

@AutismCapital I'd say there is a lot more context in the book and their relationship is stronger because you get a lot more dialogue from Rocky. It is a very funny book. The way he writes is great. I'd recommend audiobook version too.
