No I work in retail where I can quite literally see how much money I’m making the company. I’ll do anywhere between $600 and $2000 in a 5hr shift while only making $71. It’s more radicalizing to see the dramatic extent at which your surplus labor is being extracted

Here’s my stab at a Giannis trade for the Wolves that actually leaves them with a legitimate 9 man rotation and some depth. It would require a limited market, which could be the case with Giannis being on the wrong side of 30 with an injury history. Milwaukee gets Jaden McDaniels, with Julius Randle as a filler. Jaden’s value could be sky high following his performance against the Nuggets. They also add pick #14 and some future capital. They swap Turner with Bridges’ expiring deal, getting out from one of their bad money contracts. The Hornets decide to hit their playoff button and grab perhaps the best floor raiser in the game with Rudy Gobert, they do it with expiring contracts of guys who may not have a long term future in Charlotte, and consolidate them into Rudy. They send pick #14 and a future pick. Clippers get a pick 28 and a useful player for DJJ. Timberwolves make the difficult choice to part with Jaden, who is a staple in Minnesota, to assemble two of the top 10 players in the sport. They’d leave enough left over to fill the roster with Minimums (Antetokoummpo brothers + Clark and Bones?) and about 21m left to resign Ayo and likely have a buffer. @DRLDD @Bleek____ Maybe. I can’t say it’s not possible of course. AI could wipe out a lot of jobs though. My quarrel is how unregulated it is, and how these centers are just destroying everything in their path, most importantly the people who live near them that are seeing their lives ruined.
