@JClevemon @EpicClipVault Eh, in this case I think they still got it. Watching the whole video, this kid couldn't follow basic rules in jail for a few months. Kids like that are pretty much too far gone to be saved. All that can be done is to save the rest of us from his future actions.

“I spent $250,000 on a philosophy degree and I can’t find ANY work.” Years in class. Six figures in debt. ZERO payoff. She didn’t fail the system — the system sold her a LIE.

@JClevemon @EpicClipVault You use this as an example of the justice system is messed up? They got it right here, for once. The justice system being messed up is career criminals getting out 40 times only to murder innocents later.

If a car in the left lane is traveling at the posted speed limit while a car behind wants to pass (exceed the speed limit/break the law), giving a ticket to the slower car is punishment for obeying the law and a reward to the car behind for violating the law (getting a ticket for >not< helping someone break the law). That's upside down illogic. What is the point of a speed limit if the government effectively encourages people to violate it and to help others do so? Sorry, FBI. I'm guilty. I didn't help the guy behind me in the teller line rob the bank.

My dream job: undercover traffic cop whose only mission is pulling over passing lane parasites that are going the speed limit and refusing to let others behind them pass. No marked car-I want to sneak up, light ‘em up, hand them the biggest ticket of their life and end their left-lane reign of terror. Who’s with me?

People stopped going to malls when it became impossible to arrest black teenagers for rioting and stealing. Some malls implemented bans on unescorted minors, which drove the black teens to other malls which they subsequently destroyed. In Syracuse growing up, we had three main malls: Carousel Center (now Destiny USA), Shoppingtown, and Great Northern Mall. In the early 2000s, Carousel Center owner Pyramid implemented a ban on unescorted minors across all its malls (which include Crossgates in Albany, the Palisades Center in Rockland County, the Champlain Centre in Plattsburgh, and a bunch more), which sent the black teens to Shoppingtown (Great Northern was too far away for them to access by bus). Shoppingtown subsequently turned into a stinking ghetto, white people stopped going there, stores closed up shop. A few years ago it was finally abandoned and bulldozed in favor of luxury apartments. I've been to malls in other countries and they still thrive because they don't have a pandemic of black teenagers wilding out. The malls in the Philippines are beautiful; the Mall of Asia has an indoor skating rink and Greenbelt has a massive aquarium full of exotic fish. The malls in Hungary are nice. The malls in Georgia are nice; the East Point Mall even has a BIG LEBOWSKI-themed bowling alley. The malls in Mexico are nice. Even the malls in Poland, Serbia, and Bosnia are nice. But we can't have nice things in America anymore.
Kron@Kronykal

Why did people stop going to indoor malls? Is it Amazon? Going to the mall and hanging out for hours was half the 80s. It was friggin awesome.

@Fat_Electrician The only true minimum wage is zero. Wages are agreements between employer and employee for performing a task. If no one is willing to do a job for the wage offered, the employer must pay more. Not because the state says so, but because the job itself is worth a higher wage

I fucking hate the “minimum wage is for high schoolers” talking point. A. No it isn’t, that’s historically inaccurate. B. Telling a kid to work hard and earn money the “right” way, then turning around and saying he deserves less just because of his age is bullshit. Pay should be based on performance. Nothing else. If you’re against raising the minimum wage, that’s fine. Make a better argument that isn’t belittling kids trying to work hard and earn something for themselves.

@LibTearCreator1 There is a VERY short list of valid reasons that people should be blocking roads, namely traffic control and closing a road that isn't safe. Anyone else that does it, game on

@dawest76 I agree with you, while also agreeing with him. If religion has no place at work, then surely neither does a month-long celebration of dudes banging each other. Most people just want to do their jobs without any agenda getting in the middle of it.

@HannahDCox Girl we dont even have casinos in Texas and have the highest property taxes in the nation. They want you to work for every dollar you get with a $7.25 state minimum wage. No chances at going to a casino to win free money unless you drive to OK or LA

"No" "How about a casino in your pocket though? That way you can desperately shoot your shot at being able to afford life in our state. You'll almost definitely lose money but we'll make more tax revenue." -Literally life living under Republicans in a red state

Yikes: Additional notes from Jeremy Fowler's bomb shell article on Eagles star QB Jalen Hurts. - Hurts was the person who called “Four Verticals” on the Eagles' last play of the 2026 NFL Playoffs, not Kevin Patullo. - wanted to avoid playing under center - reluctant to let it rip at times, particularly against zone coverage - pushed back on changes that would diversify the scheme - poor body language, not always bought in - diverts from the game plan and changes playcalls to an excessive degree - not the most coachable, and his teammates notice 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
