A huge well done to the first 3 RAF Air Cadets who completed their first powered solo flights on the Tutor yesterday. These Cadets are the first to conduct the new Air Cadet Pilot Scholarship scheme, delivered by Number 6 Flying Training School.

In 1940 the British commissioned the production of a fighter capable of escorting US heavy bombers deep into Germany. The result - the P-51 Mustang. When the Merlin engine replaced the Allison, the P-51D was capable of flying at up to 41,900 ft at, 440mph. Game changer.

#Bearforce are joining up with another charity that is close to my heart, @Dreamflight for their trip to Orlando this month. One of our new Bearforce mascot bears is going with the teams along with some of our books to read on the flight. #talktalktalk
