@Cmonmyboi @physicsJ Yes, third-reflection rainbows emerge from the raindrops in roughly the same direction as the incident sunlight. But they are faint and diffuse and hard to see against the sun.

@physicsJ Of course this isn't one, but isn't there third order rainbows which are in at the solar point? Memory could be serving me wrong but I thought that was true? Truly laughable that someone tried to pass of that image as real though

The amount of people I’m seeing with Long Covid who are doing all they can to recover, but do absolutely nothing to try and prevent reinfection is mind boggling. It’s like recovering from smoking induced lung cancer and still lighting up cigarettes every day. Make it make sense

@MicrobiomDigest Looks like the same image of the surrounding plate was used for all of these. The random bits of substrate and light reflections appear unexpectedly identical.

@Rainmaker1973 That’s dangerous advice; you might want to delete this. The tap test is a way to check for maggots. It does *not* mean the mushroom is “very likely” edible. Most mushrooms are not edible (that round brown one at the end). And some are poisonous (the red and white amanita).

@timeout2575 @MicrobiomDigest @Harvard What I’m seeing is on the B negative control image. If you scan along its top edge, there are three small gray triangles, above the marks for 2 mm, 9 mm and 10 mm. That apparent repetition is what I’m referring to.
