@AdamPollock Big brave man calling terminally ill people your enemies.... Wonder if youd have the fortitude to use that language in front of me face to face?

@EoLWatch Carol Davies i invite you to come and speak to me on any platform any where about your claim. @EoLWatch you should be disgusted at posting such bollocks. Disgusting on every level.

@EoLWatch Absolute bollocks being spouted there. Palliative care option for choking? Palliative care option for fecal vomiting? Palliative care option for opiate allergy? You cannot claim this. Palliative care is fantastic to a point but there is a hard hard limit unfortunately.

Supporters of the assisted suicide Bill could bring the Bill back, after four pro-assisted suicide MPs were drawn near the top of the Private Members’ Bill ballot, despite the wishes of the public. 😲 Read the full article here: righttolife.org.uk/hyqm

@cryptodrftng @timothy_stanley Were not talking about suicide though. Ill indulge you though suicide is what my mother had to do alone and without any support or the chance to say goodbye bye.

@cryptodrftng @timothy_stanley Its an assited death not suicide. The facts are there that an assited death is painless and peaceful and much more compassionate and caring option. Do you imagine dieing from choking to death is pleasant or dieing from fecal vomiting?

@CookJosh90395 @fleurmeston Sorry if I wasn’t clear I was trying to say that your question was kinda illogical in the situation where we are talking about people who are in a suicidal state What is this illness called, if you don’t mind me asking?

If any MP drawn in today's ballot chooses to revive the assisted suicide Bill, they do so in the knowledge that ‘This bill won’t give anorexia patients a chance to live’ telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/2…

@cryptodrftng @fleurmeston Why would you stop taking a medication that works and stops your illness? If they magically made a cure for mine id be all over it sadly wont happen.

@kesleeman @irisstylosa Why do you assume that being terminal makes you depressed? My mother never felt a burden even when I was her full time carer because we were open and honest in every conversation. The laws of this country robbed us of being able to say goodbye.

Politics aside, here are 10 reasons why using the Parliament Acts to force the Terminally Ill Adults Bill into law is a bad idea: 1. The Royal College of Physicians have said the Bill is unsafe 2. The Royal College of Psychiatrists have said the Bill is unworkable, and unsafe 3. The British Geriatrics Society have said the Bill’s safeguards are not adequate 4. Domestic abuse charities have said the Bill is unsafe 5. Organisations representing disabled people have said the Bill is unsafe 6. Royal College of GPs says the Bill lacks adequate safeguards 7. Lord Stevens, ex NHS CEO, said legislating for assisted dying in the current climate of hospice cuts is “utterly ridiculous” 8. MIND says the safeguards are not adequate 9. The CLADD group at KCL (DOI) have said the Bill is “not fit for purpose” 10. The British Association of Social Workers say the Bill’s is not safe enough

@kesleeman @irisstylosa Why is it ok to have two tier assited death as it stands then? My mother took her own life in our home alone and hiding what she planned to safeguard me. Others travel alone to other countries to die alone or loved ones face prosecution

@kesleeman @irisstylosa I am terminally ill I want an assited death as it removes any burden it allows me to live longer and better with the knowledge when I cannot enjoy life any more I can die peacefully.

Being depressed, poor and disabled does ‘qualify’, actually. If someone is depressed because of a new diagnosis of terminal illness - they qualify. Even if the depression is treatable. Even if they have long standing mental ill-health. If someone with a terminal illness says they want assisted death because of poverty, or poor housing, or loneliness, or being a burden - they qualify.
