After Trump dies, his memory has faded and life moves on, do you think MAGA rubes will look back and wonder why they donated the money, wore the hats and ear maxipads, bought the fake gold watches, drove around the country to rallies, wrapped their trucks with his image, and generally drank the Koolaid? Once the magic is gone, will they wake from the stupor and realize how stupid they looked? How much precious time and money they wasted? How the grift only worked because of their gullibility? Will they ever see how stupid it all was?

a) He was going to leverage the upcoming midterms to get congress to vote for war
b) He would pass a bill to suspend elections during times of war
c) The midterms wouldn't happen and all existing congressmen would get to keep their seats indefinitely.

@ChaseForLiberty I think it is more that previous presidents thought (or knew) they couldn't get away with it.
Still, if the SC does decide to hold him in contempt, it would be handy to have him right there within reach :D

Its never happened before because for all their faults, every other previous president had the respect to honor the separation of powers.
