@Fast_Iain Unfortunately if you take the game any seriously at all you will be forced into the optimal one and if that's evolved it's all an illusion of choice.

Limiting every job to 16 buttons is the most unnecesary thing. I dont know how SE convinced people button bloat is a problem. You have 48 binds on controller with WXHB bars. "We broke the 2m meta" you created that problem though it was fine before EW.

@MothKira For right now Evolved is optional which isn't gonna sit well with pf. But there's no force with playing with the missing buttons. Play to however you wanna play!

@Fast_Iain I'd be ok with 4-6 buttons trimmed, i can give them synastry and have a few buttons consolidated but 16 buttons is diabolical to me

@MothKira You could say its a skill issue but I have been playing the game for 7 years now (raiding for 5) But I've been testing this for a while.

@MothKira I believe the clunkiness from me comes from my experience with the WXHB. I've had misinputs where I was hitting that instead of the regular HB. No issues with XHB but like I said some jobs are just getting a lot of buttons more than myself personally are not comfortable with.

@MothKira It's just extremely clunky imo. I play sge on controller and have no issues but more skills being added can be an issue for a lot of players.

@Fast_Iain I have been an ast controller player since 2019 it's completely fine. Put your pots and macro on WXHB.

@Actually_Tina They've distorted the EW teaser trailer as well. So it's not surprising they did it again.

As I was laying in bed, I watched this again without the crowd hype and I have some theories working but I need 7.5 before I vocalize them Also the sound balancing is terrible which is odd because they can make trailers over there. I do wonder if they are masking audio

@ElevationXIV Not like they completely outright got rid of personal buffs. Support damaging buffs are just gone.

@ElevationXIV A couple of big problems with 2 mins is that one of them is the core design of an encounter revolved around 2 mins which sometimes made fights seem like we were fighting a big striking dummy. And because of how strict it was, we would be locked to a single rotation.

We've only seen a very small sample of this new evolved system, but removing raid buffs just feels SE resorting to a lazy "solution" to the problem. Raiding is a team-based activity, it should reward proper team-based gameplay and decision making

The 2 minute rotation is finally gone. WE ARE FREE. They can finally design fights without dealing with the 2 minute rotations. #ffxiv

@whatthefemra I flex but me and my girl are both healers in raid. It was just happenstance.

Do guys go out of their way for a healer gf or is this just a ff thing? Not bashing anyone that heals, especially in hard content, yall are insanely talented to main that. But I’ve noticed the majority of what I see in limsa and with my friends too is always bunboy+healer main gf

@envinyon I think the only monster from the 24 man is behemoth, which you can get from doing the job quest. It's a lot more of a solo job than blue mage is.

I'm not sure why people have the impression that beastmaster is exclusively solo content? They said you can do dungeons with parties, and even said some monsters can be obtained in alliance raids, which would necessitate grouping up

@Zephiason That's good your not quitting. Can't wait to see you run it if you plan on streaming your prog on it.

@PJiggles_ I think Aang died at like age 60 something? It's kinda why Katara and Zuko are still alive even as Korra is a young woman. Sokka is still an unknown mystery since the flashback stuff was the oldest we've seen him as.

This image kills me cause Aang and Sokka never got elderly designs in TLoK like the others. So grouping those together just makes it look like they mogged the fuck out of Katara Toph and Zuko as elders

@AfroSenju Nickelodeon/Paramount have a real problem getting hacked and leaked stuff gets out there. It happened to the last couple of spongebob movies...

Also those saying the voice acting is bad, I think they're trying to recreate how the dialogue was in the show which is very accurate and felt like I was watching an episode of the show. I'm so excited for this movie. I cant... 😭

I saw the clip of the Aang movie, it looks pretty good. But it could be fake/an early version. But I really like it so far I didn't see much of the second clip because it looks like a spoiler.
