Hell, you literally have Rashid's stage and artwork in the base game WITHOUT the day 1 patch installed. So it's clear they were base first.

Soul Calibur 3 is a good reminder to how a fighting hame should be released, TONS of UNLOCKABLES, TONS of MODES, and TONS of different ways to play through a game. Maybe SC7 might finally get it right

@Ser_BlinKy @BosmerLady Not a big issue...the community would be small and would be relegated to discord most likely. With that you can ban the use of it. Not like we didn't have game breaking glitches in the past which we banned for competition.

@konfessionmk After playing SC3 is makes it more harder for me to enjoy newer fighting games especially when it comes to single player content plus on top of that characters arcade mode actually have legit cutscenes and not still images with boring dialogue. We are so robbed now 😭

@render_sir @blazinshoryuken Don't argue with the guy... He can't fathom that people actually like single player content, because he doesn't care about it, so everyone shouldn't either. Not to mention that casuals allow for FGs to be profitable to begin with, so they're the reason for them to exist.

@blazinshoryuken @konfessionmk I've had a long standing fighting game rivalry with my brother since Street Fighter 2 We fought each other through nearly every fighting game and fighting game adjacent thing Including that weird mode in Xenogears I finally definitively beat him in Soulcalibur3 play more games

@HeadBlok @konfessionmk But that's not always the case. SF6 for example is a complete game and the DLC did literally what it means...it's added content post launch. PS2 games on average were also just worse than todays games.

@konfessionmk Yet we still have some jackassess out there arguing "every game has dlcs now, that's just the way it is lolz" Yeah, because people like them allowed for companies to nickel and dime them fir content that should've been included in the base game. PS2 games offer more value.

@sclSolitarium @konfessionmk SC6 is literally the best gameplay wise, tho. Only other game holding a candle to it is SC2, but that games also just built for sweats.

@konfessionmk yeah, put everything in the fighting game, platformer, rpg, racing, strategy, maybe then this fighting game hidden in one of these ton of modes may be fun because fuck me im not gonna buy a fighting game to fight people.
