Then grew up the spoiled and irresponsible child and pissed everything away. Chose virtue-signalling over character.

I was a fan of Clapton’s long, storied career but he was my very first Spotify “do not play this artist”. As I don’t know how $ is paid out, this extends to his bands Cream, Derek & the Dominoes, Yardbirds, Blind Faith. I’m not chancing one cent going to his cause. @DanielOzerel

Nobody pays taxes on 100% of their income. Even if you earn $1 million/year, you still don't pay taxes on all of it, with the tax rate being 0% on everything below the personal exemption amount. This is a stunning example of basic financial illiteracy from a federal party leader.

I did flight training in Quebec and the topic came up.
I was told that roads in Quebec cost 30% more to built or maintain than in Ontario, and everyone knows that it is because of corruption.

Canadian identity needs to come from something other than anti-American sentiment and false nostalgic myths, such as us burning the White House - that was the British. Creating a whole identity contra to something else is not an identity. We're better than this.

@terrynewman I'm not sure 'we're better than this'. Nothing in Canada's history - eg. the WW2 conscription crisis and ensuing 'Zombie' army; 1930's-40's anti-semitism in Quebec; HMCS Uganda - tells me 'we're better than this'. In fact ending up an ally of Iran/Hez/Hamas may be who Canada is.
