The 2016 GOP Primary was so depressing. A narcissistic, wildly unconservative conman gradually built steam (helped by the media) before winning with ease.
And now 10 years later he's remade the American right into a personality cult reminiscent of the Soviet Communist Party.

Marco Rubio drops out of Republican presidential race.

@ytrihs @UniversalS314 @dmontetheno1 yeah. people leave or become irreligious mostly bc they don't find it important enough and get distracted by this world
English

@UniversalS314 @dmontetheno1 dude icl I don’t think academia is a real issue outside of these weird discord / twitter circles
English

This is indeed a serious crisis, and it’s even worse to see it take shape irl within our communities. We need to do better at engaging with youth intellectually and socially and inviting them to the masjid! It requires sincere effort and creativity!

This is why daʿwah is necessary in our time.

@locS022 @IsmailD99870399 @GodLogic_GL what type of meta ethics did Abraham subscribe to? How did he come to the realization that sacrificing his son was a morally okay thing to do?
English

@IanCook321 @IsmailD99870399 @GodLogic_GL Lmao im not gonna speak to a retard who thinks that DCT is the only ethical theory for theists. Open up some books first and i know its hard with ur 80 iq inbreed brain but at least try
English

@locS022 @IsmailD99870399 @GodLogic_GL if you have good reasons to think that doing xyz will save you from eternal torment and give you eternal goodness, and you have evidence for that being true, a rational actor will do it.
English

@locS022 @IsmailD99870399 @GodLogic_GL yes. the abrahamic faiths are divine command theory based. abraham was instructed to violate his most fundamental moral intuitions and kill his own son. God allowed for something to take his place as a mercy, but the lesson is whatever God commands is just and correct
English

@studentindeen you know. i was totally wrong. it's always the shatt that's referenced. no other source uses the language this hadith does with respect to the location of basra in relation to the tigris.
English

@IanCook321 If you have any documentation on this topic, I’m interested.
English

@Dunedain8456555 @IjazTheTrini i can't believe people with your IQ level actually exist in this world. how am i breathing the same air as you
English

@IjazTheTrini Well then you’re not a Muslim if you eat pork.
English

I eat pork everyday and haven't cried yet.
Disclaimer: Some of my medication uses porcine capsules and cannot be replaced, changed, or cut in anyway, must be consumed as-is.
Dunedain843@Dunedain8456555
@IjazTheTrini Because y’all cry when pork is in your presence.
English

@Ahraz__ @SCApologia i get that more people are gonna tune in to a video over reading or listening. but tbh, if you are a truth seaker evaluating the evidences for different truth claims, you should be willing to do some legwork
English

@Ahraz__ @SCApologia honestly live debates are stupid, where cooler minds don't prevail and the best arguments won't be put forward. written debates are the best, where extensive references can be provided, a lot more thought behind the arguments, etc

When you can't defend your religion with words, you start thinking like this;
Modern-Day Debate@ModernDayDebate
Muslims trying to peer pressure each other to avoid MDD with implied threats of violence bc I laughed at a joke - very, very sad - don’t worry I’ll protect the Muslim debaters who come onto MDD from the violent Muslims who talk about deserving beatings!
English

@Rashiq__Shahzad @eraser0110 @UniversalS314 you're an embarrassment man. i love how you get excited and post stuff like you've discovered something new and cool.
English

@IanCook321 @eraser0110 @UniversalS314 Lol why you people think pointing out a single makes a whole argument wrong because you people can't cope woth facts 😂😂
English

This might be the worst post I've seen:
reddit.com/r/AcademicQura…
I can understand why a lot of the Ahl Al Hadith group took Abu Hanifa to be a (especially Al Bukhari) "heretic" but to claim none of them changed their minds especially Malik is nothing but misreading the texts.
English

@CopticBoi @eraser0110 @Muhamma55910196 yeah. muslims throughout history, giant scholars rejected stuff in Bukhari and Muslim. Muslims aren't a monolith. you can literally look this stuff up, it's so basic level.
English

@IanCook321 @eraser0110 @Muhamma55910196 “lmao” Only reason i’m asking is because I remember seeing Muslims say you can’t reject anything that is in Bukhari or Muslim. So traditionally it’s fine to reject a hadith recorded there?
English

@CopticBoi @eraser0110 @Muhamma55910196 but what's not allowed is rejecting something from the prophet (in terms of religious guidance) if you know 100% he said it.
English

@CopticBoi @eraser0110 @Muhamma55910196 lmao. different scholars will classify different hadiths as sahih or less than sahih depending on different criteria. ilm al-rijjal works themselves differ in how they rate different people in the chain.
so ofc, a muslim can reject what another muslim thinks is sahih.
English

@Oneubon4563 Do Muslim jinn observe the moon to know when to fast during Ramadan or do they wait to see when Allah chains the shayateen among them?
English

@ModernDayDebate @_IncaTech_ lmao this is hilarious. a nonmuslim can NEVER lecture a muslim about dishonoring Allah and Islam.
English

@_IncaTech_ I see u condone Muslims putting out veiled threats of beatings against other Muslims, very very sad u dishonor Allah and Islam by condoning evil
English

Any Muslim who uses this kafirs platform in the future deserves a beating.
English

@eraser0110 @UniversalS314 not answering your question but hilariously this guy doesn't know the difference between anas ibn malik and imam malik

English

@UniversalS314 what are you referring to for the imam malik assertion?
English

@eraser0110 @CopticBoi @Muhamma55910196 no serious hadith scholar will say the process of collecting and writing hadith is an inspired project. it is a human project. it's a very impressive and I think Muslims have preserved their founder and earliest generations teachings better than any other civilization
English

@eraser0110 @CopticBoi @Muhamma55910196 yes exactly. sometimes there actually may be contradictory hadith, but it's okay if they can't be reconciled. scholars can then grade the chains (even if both sahih) or look at contexts or corroborating reports, etc to judge which one to use in jurisprudence
English

@solamediaorg i don't get this obsession christians have with this "guarantee" of heaven. why are religions that don't have this element any less plausible than those that do have this element?
English

“[I asked this Muslim convert] does it not concern you that in this new faith of yours that you have no assurance of salvation? And her response is another one of these, these ‘aha moments,’ where she said, it doesn't bother me because Allah has already determined my fate.”
