@TheBMTIB @CoulditBe_BailE This is all true. I don’t know how many teams have the assets plus the cap space. Dallas could stash Seguin on LTIR or pay someone a pick to take him for a year & none of this matters but 7 x 12-13 plus, say, 3first rounders is a tough partner to find. I don’t see an offer sheet.

I would also be on board with the Pens trading Rust and Rakell by getting 2 firsts (don’t care if you gotta throw a later pick in to make it happen) and taking 3 guys in the first round again.

I have no idea what Dubas’ plans are. I don’t know what he can even try and do. Murashov and Brunicke are probably only guys on Wilkes that can make the team. I feel like this is what they’ll be until 87-71-58 retire, which may be in like 2035 at this point.
