@sreejit_d Their plan to keep Mamta busy in her seat clearly didn't work. Suvendu da should have been touring the state but he's doing door to door in the bylanes of Bhabanipur. There is lot of anti incumbency but its not getting channelized in the campaign

There can be no fair elections in WB under these circumstances which have prevailed since at least 2018, if not before. But almost everyone from outside WB is already falling over each other to blame the Bengali bhadralok for "no change"! Well, they have no idea.

We Bengalis hope that the BJP national & state leadership will stay back in WB after the results are out, no matter what the results are. The BJP has only one local mass leader, i.e., Suvendu babu. But he'd need backing to ensure that the bloody May of 2021 doesn't recur.

BJP has made a smart recovery in Rahr region, where they suffered heavily in both 2021 & 2024. Total consolidaton of Bong Hs towards BJP here. But Ms & non Bong Hs, fully back TMC. In 2024, BJP lost 5 seats in this belt due to severe infighting & sidelining of Sh. Dilip Ghosh.

@bosechem @ViratHindu24 One fundamental mistake of BJP is they didn't groom any local Bihari leader beyond turncoat Arjun Singh & family. Mamta on the other openly appease them. BJP prefers to keep distance out of fear that they will be tagged outsider party and lose narrative. TMC IT does uno reverse.
