That top line and d pairing 😩 Last year the Oilers were able to take over large periods of play. This year, so far, thats not the case. Maybe they rebound here but the combo of McDavid hurt and ineffective from 93/18/2/14 is too much.

The only thing I want from the NHL tonight is to identify which of the officials had it as a good goal on the ice after the conference - because the low referee sure didn't call it initially. Ryan Poehling being so demonstrative and sure about it absolutely, 100% made that call

It is likely that the NHL refs — who never saw the puck go in — were heavily influenced by the Anaheim goal celebration and the pressure of the Ducks crowd calling for the goal to count.

That said, let’s be honest. That’s the correct call. It was in. The puck is a circle, not an oval.
