Around 4.16% of the total votes were cast between 11:45 PM and 2 AM. Nearly 17 lakh votes were cast after midnight, and the shocking fact is that post-midnight a vote was cast every 20 seconds.
An EVM takes 14 seconds to reset. That leaves 6 seconds for a voter to enter the booth, vote and exit.
At 5 pm, the CEO declared 68.04%. By 8 pm, the ECI said 68.12%. By 11.45 pm changed it to 76.5%. Four days later - 81.79%. That's a whopping 13% jump with no explanation.
Questions remain unanswered till date.
- Why has Form 17C not been made public?
- Why is the voter list not available in a machine readable format?
The ECI in its defence has shamelessly argued that, “bringing data after 2 years of the election is unconstitutional.”
The ECI has murdered democracy and two years doesn't make it less of a murder.
